Do these CZ600's reliably hit the harder primers on surplus x39 ammo?
Some of the Czech x39 seems to be especially hard to ignite with certain bolt guns.

My 600 Alpha is picky with what it eats. Red box Norinco no problem, but Sterling Cross “Battle Brick” commercial reloads are a no go, doesn’t ignite the primers. I haven’t tried any corrosive surplus yet. Shoots PPU good, Just occasional light primer strikes and my reloads with Hornady SST’s are about 0.8” at 100 yards. Federal and CCI primers all go bang.

I currently have a Howa, it is fine with some Czech, and not other Czech x39. Seems ok with most all Chinese ammo.

Maybe there is no bolt action that is ok with ALL surplus x39.🤔

I use Chinese brown lacquered surplus in my CZ 600 Alpha, works fine, no light primer strikes. Ammo seems to be on the hot side, so flattened primers and hard bolt lifts happen from time to time. Other than that, no issues.

I just saw the CZ600+ models are on the CZ website. Looks like they fixed the barrel swap issue. Look to be nice guns, like the first ones but without the barrel swap issue. https://www.c zfirearms.com/products/centerfire-rifles/cz-600-plus-series?tab=0

I did some searching on the CZ600+ and it seems the North American market is a very low priority for CZ600+ release. Not sure if that is true ir not.

It looks like all the models are getting the new barrel mounting system plus a few new models..... hopefully barrels will be easy to get and reasonably priced.
