CZ 600 LUX 8x57

It's the vintage rifles (Sporting and Military) it's chambered in. It's also an excellent cartridge and probably the most influencial smokeless round.

In the new CZ 600 Lux, the only cartridges that do something the 8x57 doesn't are the 223 and 300 Win Mag.

I would concur. The 300WM will be the first spare barrel I buy, but my hot loaded 8x57 is not far behind. It's nice to have options.

With the 600, I will have every Brno and CZ centerfire model, but the 600 will be the most versatile. Very excited.

I saw the folding stock .223 and its love at first sight. Hard to justify another rifle when I don’t really get to the range much. But man what a great backpacking gun

I could get into one of these...they all have nice fast twist rates in 223/6mm/6.5mm.
Wish the muzzle threading was our standards and not Euro standards, not a deal breaker.

Tikka/Sako muzzlebrakes should work.

He's a good dude to deal with, met him on Saturday when I picked up the 527, chatted all things CZ for about 30 mins.
I guess I better get on that 600 pre-order...kind of want one now, just don't know which one.

I’m tempted to join the first come first serve pre order but concerned I will end up waiting until the next quarterly import clears customs if I’m last in line. Would rather do that wait with my money in my pockets.

Maybe we can start swapping barrels on our own; I wonder how much the alpha would weigh with the light contour barrel from the lux
