I would be all over this if it was in 7.62x39 or .308 winchester/7.62 Nato. .223 isn't the caliber I would want for the use case of a rifle like this. Really too bad, because I would LOVE a rifle exactly like this for hunting deer/elk and for bear/cougar defense while out bush.

I also think that a CZ 600 trail made in 308 would be prefect for that purpose. More versatile and compact then a stock shotgun. The sig cross in 308 16in fits that role.

I realize they had issues with the way they tried it orignaly but should be easy enough to figure out something that works.

CZ have recently announced new "CZ 600+ Ergo Driven Hunt" model with user replaceable barrels but we do not know for sure if/when they are updating the rest of the 600 series.
