CZ 75 9mm

Yes

Look at the Shadows, however. They have a better (SA) trigger than the 75B and 85B/Combat.

If that matters to you.

Yes. Back in the day when I was shopping for my first 9mm I did a lot of looking and settled on a CZ75 because it had good reviews and it was significantly less money than Sig, Glock, Beretta etc. After having one (sometimes two) of the CZ 75 family pistols I would choose it over the others regardless of price, even if I had the extra money to spend.

I have owned one since the 1980s. I have shot most of the major pistol brands (Glock, Browning, Colt, Ruger, S&W, Sig Sauer, H&K, Walther, etc). I still go back to my CZ-75 as my preferred pistol.

G note for a CZ75 SP-01 is decent for what you get. An additional 150 or so will get you better springs and aluminum grips. Very nice 9mm afterwards .....

Love my cz75 pre b.....super trigger...feels classy....but my shadow rules the cabinet....never even thought about trading it....

Pre-b since '85 excellent pistol, have a new 85B love it as well. little tinkering and the triggers are both excellent. Figure 25K through the Pre-b and have changed the sear spring (tail that held the safety in place broke off). Solid guns!!

I've shot or owned most of them... other than the super expensive tanfoglios and 1911's, and about a month ago I sold my Shadow... mistake... BUT! I do have a new set of aluminum grips from Dlask awaiting the arrival of my new one ... I am "patiently" waiting for the post man to deliver it!

... long story short, if you want a 9mm... make it a Shadow... or STI 1911 ;)

They're excellent and there's a reason they're the number # 1 pistol used in IPSC Production division. I rarely recommend anything else for a reasonably priced, fast, accurate 9mm pistol with fantastic ergonomics.

The 75B New Edition is the best looking pistol of the bunch and I finally snagged one last fall. If you don;t like the FLDC go for the stock 75B, change out the mainspring to 13# and just go shoot it.

Take Care

Bob
