CZ 75 9mm

Order from Brownells or CZ Custom in the US if you can;t source a 13# mainspring from one of our sponsors here. The lighter mainspring will make a world of difference and the only spring I have ever bothered to change on a 75B

Can anyone recommend some decent wolf springs to upgrade a stock b with, mostly just range shooting at the moment but hoping to get into 3gun sometime with it.

Dlask had everything you need in stock yesterday.

11# recoil spring
13# main spring & firing pin spring
Stainless guide rod & buffers

Honestly don't know the models that well, and these are all upgrades for the 75 Shadow. Not sure if they will fit or are needed for a 75B.

I've shot or owned most of them... other than the super expensive tanfoglios and 1911's, and about a month ago I sold my Shadow... mistake... BUT! I do have a new set of aluminum grips from Dlask awaiting the arrival of my new one ... I am "patiently" waiting for the post man to deliver it!

... long story short, if you want a 9mm... make it a Shadow... or STI 1911 ;)

Good advice at least IMHO

Purchasing a CZ 75 will not be a mistake unless you are a Tupperware style gun aficionado.
In the unlikelihood you grow to dislike it, it will sell easily... some like 2x procurement cost in EE...

My first pistols were a Sig P226 and a Beretta 92A1. Love those guns. But since I held and later acquired a CZ75 finally, I was left saying to myself, "Why didn't I get this as my first pistol? This thing is the s**t!" My other pistols now have a hard time making it out to the range and I now own a number of different CZ pistols. Lately, I can hear the CZ Shadow 2 calling me.;)

I'm tempted as well but how much better can they be for the additional cost

Yup and Yup. Own both and they are my 2 favs!

First class pistol, with spring replacement and competition hammer it becomes a world class pistol. The Yanks aren't in love with it because it's steel and therefore a bit heavy for concealed carry, but that same weight makes it a pistol that's fun and easy to shoot accurately.
