was all set to buy a beretta92 fs inox and a seller told me not to because the cz 75 b stainless is a much better pistol .what do you think

fair to be I don't like the low shaped slide of CZ and more or less the whole design.
my truly vote goes for Beretta 92FS Inox made in Italy with all parts stainless.
BERETTA = 500 years, one passion !

They are both great options. It's a simple case of "six of one, half a dozen of the other".

Now if you were talking Beretta Inox to CZ Shadow I may say to go with the Shadow. It's a good gun out of the box and is transformed to a superb gun with very minor spring exchanges. And it becomes a superlative gun when spring changes and some minor action polishing is combined.

I have owned the Beretta 92fs for years, I've also had the 96 and 92G Elite II. I would recommend the CZ 75 Shadow over any of them in a heart beat. The Beretta is a beautiful gun with exceptional reliability - I've never had a jam, but the trigger is very heavy with plenty of pre-travel and over-travel and a long reset. There is not a lot you can do to improve the Beretta trigger, apart from installing the lower powered hammer spring, which brings the double action trigger pull down from awful to acceptable.

The CZs tend to have lighter triggers, even the base model, and a somewhat smaller grip, which is important for those without big paws. CZs are more likely to require replacement of parts, they are somewhat more fragile. The trigger reset is much shorter than the Beretta, allowing fast follow up shots, important in any action shooting game. The trigger reset on the CZ 75 SP01 Shadow is something to behold, on my brothers gun it is possible to fire two rounds from one deliberate trigger pull, as the trigger resets under recoil while still being pulled. Result = blablam!

Slavex, one of the moderators on this forum, made the Canadian IPSC team while shooting a Beretta, he now shoots the Shadow.

Some years ago I qualified for the Australian IPSC team (shooting the Glock 17). I am now contemplating getting back into the competitive side of things, If I do I will trade my Beretta towards a new Shadow.

TL, DR: Get the Beretta for beauty, cool factor and complete reliability. Get the CZ Shadow for accuracy, good trigger and the chance to be competitive in action shooting games.

I happened to have both! :D

how do the compare price wise
CZ will be a little more actually. But with in $100, maybe even $50 depends where you buy.

I had a 92Inox for a number of years and always thought 75B was fugly till I saw one in stainless! So I got one in November. I really like both guns. CZ is a bit more picky about the ammo (OAL problem) while Beretta will eat anything!! CZ is also a little more ergonomic, but I love the feel of a Beretta; it's like handling a 'D cup' - big but feels good. ;)

The finish is a bit different too, Beretta is a regular matt stainless where CZ is high polished.

I have a polished Stainless CZ-75b and it is a gorgeous gun.

The satin nickel finish on my gun buddy's cz-75 is nice also but it is a finish and not the same as the solid stainless steel of my 75B SS.

Also the barrel on my CZ is polished.... His is Black.

The Beretta in stainless is a nice looking gun. Once day I will own one but the CZ was my first choice.

The CZ also comes in a matte stainless. Finding one in Canada maybe a chore though. CZ importers have the marketing savy of a slug.

Take Care

 you did not just say that, my CZ is ten times nicer then any POS plastic glock or even a M&P for that matter ;)

Holy...I love this kind of topic!!! I had a CZ, M9 and still have a G17(kinda line up to sell). CZ is far more prettier than Glock, M&P and many other pistol and shoot way better. Glock on the other hand is too cheap and ugly to sell, will lost quite a bit of money:) But I still pick 92 inox over stainless 75.

I have had both.
I got rid of all my Berretta's because I liked the trigger much better on my CZ's.
More consistent.
I also liked that the CZ's are full steel guns.
I have an SP01, and a 75B in polished stainless.

All I need now is a big fur coat, and a purple fedora!
