Looking to buy a pistal was looking at wholesale they had these cz 75 for $719. Are these any good are they reliable and accurate shooters? Any info would bw good Thanks in adance

At $700 my opinion is that the C-75/85 is one of the best 9mm's you can get - great trigger, good ergonomics, low bore axis, built like a brick ####house and very reliable. And yes, they are accurate.

I have one and I love shooting it. It is without doubt one of the top 5 9mm's that I think everyone should have.

If you look on Gun Nutz they are available from $500 and up. If the $700 comes with a spare mag it's an expensive mag. Just watch for one coming up, and ask about accessories might get lots of extras. There are the older ones with the painted receivers, but most are blued. I didn't like the finish of the earlier ones but I love the blued models. Wise choice for a serious handgun purchase.

I just bought one before Christmas that was consigned at the shooting edge, the last owners name is engraved on the slide (i blurred it out) so i got it for about $470.00 inclusive shipped to my door. I absolutely love it, my last pistol was a P220 in 9mm and i like the CZ just as much as i did the Sig. They are a great pistol for the price, you really can't go wrong. Enjoy the pics.

here's a vid of me shooting it last weekend http://members.shaw.ca/miat/TCZ.wmv

Yeah I have a CZ and I think it is an more accurate pistol then my Mark 23??? Now if I could just get over the price diffrence I would have had like three new CZ's by now!!!

Is a CZ75/85 a good pistol? YOU BETCHA! I do have one item to caution you on. Most CZs do not have decockers so have someone teach you how to decock it properly. Decocking is done by placing your thumb between the hammer and the firing pin, while holding the hammer pull the trigger, and gently lower the hammer. Once you are used to it this action will become second nature. Regards, Richard :D

the only advice I can offer is don't get the single action (SA) model, stick with the regular SA/DA one (will serve you better if you want to have some fun with ipsc shooting down the road ;-) ).

Also, if you're thinking about paying a bit extra to go up to the 85 model, go with the "85 Combat" - adjustable sights, extended mag release, etc... But the basic 75 (well, "75B" these days, the next generation with an internal hammer block safety) is very good.

Question answered above, ignore.
Can't seem to delete my post, it wants something in here.
Sorry.

I'd have to argue with this point. I've had my CZ 75B SA for a couple of years and like it alot. I did the IPSC Black Badge last week-end with it and it was a great Standard division gun. It's a matter of whether you like to shoot D/A or not. I don't.

The CZ75B is an excellent pistol. But, do not buy it from Wholesale Sports. Buy it from either Wolverine Supplies or The Shooting Edge (links to both stores in the ads at the top of the page). You'll pay less and you'll get better service. I think it sells for a mere $605 at Wolverine.
