CZ 75 -good first pistol??

You might want to take a look at the SP-01 if you're looking at CZ. It's based from the 75 but more 'tactical' - with the rail, etc.

I have a CZ SP01 (was going to get the 75) which is an improvement in feel and control over the 75.

The 'Tactical' model has a decocker.

Mine has the ambi thumb safety which I prefer.

It is the best value in a 9mm out there, and mine has been flawless and super sweet through 2,000 rounds.

It was a little stiff at first, but it has smoothed out beautifully, including the trigger.

I Agree

good gun, but the stock trigger kind of sucks

I agree with that. Everything else about a CZ 75B SA is great, but the trigger needs work. The over caming of the hammer is particularly bad, almost like a Double Action. Ghost has the fix for this. I'm sending mine in on Friday for a makeover.
