CZ 75 pre B magazines

I have been looking for the same Magazines ,Marstar only has the CZ 75 /85 mags and they unfortunately do not fit original model CZ 75's. I got 2 of the ones they show as in stock in May with no luck.

I have the preB transitional model, and the magazines for the Shadow work just fine (I did change the original mag brake with a flat one)

I have a "pre-B pre-transitional CZ-75", and just like yours (albeit without any modifications) it functions perfectly with the magazines that shipped with my "Shadow SP-01" magazines. ;)

This is the CZ I have that I cannot find mags for - I have no idea what the transitional model is, but this is the one I need mags for.... are we talking about the same pistol/mags?

Ya, that's a PRE-B and Ya OEM 75 Mags don't work.

CZ 75 Mags do work in PRE-Bs. They are about $75 a pop the last time I got some (6-8 years ago). That was from CZ Custom and I don't think they ship to CA anymore.

Best option is to mod the mag well to accept OEM 75 mags. It's a corner radius issue.

The transitional model has the 75B frame (slightly larger grip and square trigger guard), yours is the original 75 frame.
Gnmontey is right, you might have to mod the mag well (lots of info on youtube) if you cannot find preB mags

I have the same gun . Mag Wedge cz75 mags will work they are Italian manufacture most likey Meggar .. Bulls Eye Sports had them in stock a while ago $36.99

I find it difficult to believe the new mags will work in an unmodified pre B magwell. Save yourself the frustration and deal with the problem.
Mod your magwell. It is easy to do and the problem goes away.

Take Care

True!
The new mags work in the preB transitional models because the frame has the same dimensions as the B model (The transitional model is basically a preB slide with no firing pin safety on a b frame)

Not always. Transitional look like B frames but are not. I got a transitional from Marstar that won't take some recent mags. It looks like MecGar's production varies in tolerances.

Contact Corwin Arms. In an other thread about recent surplus 75/85's from Marstar, someone said their mags worked fine in his gun.

I bought my CZ 85 from M*. It was a "good" condition model. Mine has a magazine brake installed so none of my magazines fall free but just eject about a centimeter to allow you to pull it out.

Markings on new manufactured magazine.

I bought my magazines from thingsmilitary in Calgary, and they look exactly like the ones on Corwin arms website.
