CZ-75 question for the CZ experts

So I recently came across a CZ-75 that I can't seem to identify. It's a traditional framed CZ but it's not a 'b' and it's not a 'pre-b' (made in Czech Republic not Czechoslovakia). Also, it seems brand new. The model isn't on CZ-USA or any other sites that I've visited. I've been told that it came from the custom shop, but I would think even if it did they would start off with a standard CZ-75 b? The only thing written on the slide is: CZ-75 cal.9 LUGER and the CZ logo. Below it on the frame is MADE IN CZECH REPUBLIC. Furthermore, it has Shadow sights, a really nice trigger and a light hammer, for what it's worth. Please don't ask for pics as I don't have a laptop and photobucket doesn't work with my mobile. Any help would be very much appreciated because this is really bothering me!

So how do you know it's not a pre-b with upgraded sights?

Sounds like a 75 Shadowline. What year was the pistol made. The year is on the gun. It is not a Pre B as the Czech Republic was not around when the Pre B's were made.

If it doesn't have cz-usa engraved on it then it came direct from CZ.

All cz-usa guns are required to be marked by the importer (@&#$in UN marking regulations.[/QUOTE]

Nope regulations written in the good old US of A. Nothing to do with UN regulations.

The 75 Shadowline was a purpose built gun to compete in IDPA SSP Division when we had limitations on the FLDC. Great gun... have one. The trigger out of the box is better than a stock Shadow. CZ also made/makes the SP-01 Shadowline which has the FLDC and has a very good trigger out of the box as well. I have seen a couple of the 75 Shadowlines on the EE as low as $800 which is a steal at that price.
