CZ 75 Series/85 Series Reduced Power Springs

That is a possibility since a CCI Stinger is a .22 cal and does not have enough kick to cycle the slide. I might be wrong and I do not have this conversion kit, but the recoil of a 9mm is far greater than a rimfire.

I had fail to fire not fail to eject- just required second strike maybe 75% of the time. I think the stock springs are 15lbs? Correct me if i'm wrong on that.

GREAT for practicing trigger control lol!

the reduced power springs don't work to well with the 22lr kit.

best to use the 15lb with the kit.

factory mainspring is 18lbs

The 13lb mainspring is definately worthwhile; I don't think the 11lb recoil spring is neccesary unlessy you're shooting 147gr ammunition.

The .22LR Kit does not use the whole slide to cycle, only half and works just fine with the recoil spring it comes with. Mine is extremely accurate with all types of .22LR ammo. No problems with Stingers and I run a 13# mainspring in my Shadow and 85 Combat.

Why is that? I have a Shadow with a stock spring and shoot 147gr.

Sorry, I should have qualified that more and stated lightly loaded 147gr. Basically two guys I shoot with who run Shadow's suggested I didn't need to bother with the 11lb recoil spring in my gun as I'm shooting factory (or reloads to factory velocity) ammo.

They load 147gr somewhat light for production division, and both use the 11lb spring.

I'm going to do an a/b comparison between the factory and 11lb spring tomorrow when I'm at the range and see how much different it feels.

I have a 13lb mainspring with 2 coils cut off, and an extended firing pin. No problems whatsoever. I load 124gr. Berry's with 4.3gr W231.
