Hi all. I have a 2008 CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow that has approximately 5000 rounds through it. I am the third owner and AFAIK the barrel is the original factory barrel that came with the pistol. I have noticed what looks like wear on the top of the barrel between the lugs and the muzzle end (closer to the lug end).
I can't decide if this is wear and tear, or by design. The supposed wear appears to be even (and symmetrical when comparing left and right sides), and there is absolutely no sign of wear on the inside of the slide where the barrel makes contact. As well, the top of the barrel is very smooth (i.e. - no rough areas). Should I be worried? Thanks in advance.
