I have an option to buy either a black or dualtone Shadow. Beyond personal, 'what looks better to me', is there any reason to pick one finish over the other?

The black will show holster wear sooner than the silver but other than that, go with what you like.

Get the black one, since you are from Winnipeg, you need all the solar warming of the frame that you can get................., the dual tone does look kinda neat though.

That dual tone is hideous. The full stainless or black are both gorgeous, I'd have a very tough time choosing between those two.

The stainless would be easier to clean and shine up, but the black would hide stuff better. Quite the toss up.

Between the two pictured? Black, no question. It's even a richer black in person than what the picture shows.

If you're a big feller, get black. It's more slimming.
If you're not, get black. It's better looking.

Get black, cause I like it better ;).

The wife has the dual tone and just loves it. The dual tone isn't stainless, but more of a matt finish and hides blemishes, fingerprints, etc. probably better than any other finish I've seen. Very easy to keep clean.

I'm kinda jealous...

Thanks all. I just completed the order for the dualtone. :d

Cool...shoot it lots then start looking for a Pre-B disconnector and competition hammer:p.

Not that it needs it but if you're like many of us, you've not seen a piece of hardware that you didn't want to "improve".

Dualtone looks good. A Satin-Nickel finish will also look good as with the now discontinued 85 Combat (available only in Black Polycoat).
