Has any one out there seen the CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow Canadian version? I was at a store the other day looking at pistols and the owner pulled one out. I have to say it looked great, felt great but was a little more than I wanted to pay. Whats your opinion on them?

I have the SP-01 Shadow and the SP-01 Shadow Canadian Edition, there is a noticeable difference in the trigger, sights are an upgrade, thought the regular shadow was awesome before purchasing the Canadian Edition. The regular Shadow is a beautiful gun to use, unless you have expendable cash I would stick with the "regular" version. They're both steel and solid feeling in the hand, the CZ's are on the top shelf in my safe! Can't go wrong with either one. The rubber grips on the regular version are ok, I replaced them with these however, http://www.hogueinc.com/store/products/cz-75-cz-85-checkered-aluminum-matte-black-anodized/4893, handling the gun is a dream.
The difference between the two is noticeable but not so sure it's worth an extra $ 500.00 bucks or so unless, like I said you have the "Cash".

The nice thing with the standard version is the hammer can be tuned exactly like the competition hammer.
I did mine and the trigger is perfect. From a gunsmith perspective, the Shadow is a joy to work on. :)

Some parts are smaller and there's extra tiny springs, but it's not complicated.
I wouldn't recommend a detail strip to the average guy and especially don't try a trigger job.
One too many passes of the stone or wrong angle and it's new parts time.
