Hi all.
This past Sunday I took the TDSA Advanced Pistol 1 course (which was amazing BTW) and fired almost 750 rounds in 5-6 hours. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to clean my pistol until this morning. I performed a standard field strip and thoroughly wiped down the slide, barrel, guide pin & spring, and the frame. I also fed a cloth through the pistol from the bottom of the mag well up through the pistol body. No cleaners were used, all I did was a wipe job.
After putting the pistol back together, everything seems to function properly except for the double action trigger. Single action works as expected, but when trying to pull the trigger in DA, nothing happens except for the trigger moving to the rear as I pull it. The hammer does not move at all, nor do any other parts appear to move.
I've never fully disassembled my Shadow and am not fully familiar with the components linked to the trigger (I'm more of a 1911 guy). Could something have happened during my course on Sunday? Or, is it possible I did something when wiping down my pistol this morning?
Personally, I never fire the pistol in DA, but I'm not comfortable with the fact that something that used to work no long functions as expected. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Chris.
