Just trying to decide between the original shadow and the new shadow line.
So just wanting to get some input from anyone who has bought the shadow line pistol about the way it shoots or does it shoot pretty much the same as the original one?

thanks

I really don't see there being much if any difference between the two other than cosmetic. I have the original Shadow and am waiting to receive my 75 Shadow Line pistol. I personally like CZ's rubber grips better than the aluminum grips. They are prefectly molded to your hand.

An educated guess would say the SP01 Shadow will be a better shooter since it has the weight of the full dust cover and rail.

Not really. It pretty much just comes down to preference. Do you want a muzzle heavy SPO1 Shadow pistol with little recoil or a perfectly balanced 75 with little recoil? I've shot both and their isn't any real noticeable difference that you will feel. Returns to POA just as quick.

The 2 that i'm asking about both have full dust cover and rail. the weight of the 2 guns is the same

I have purchased the 75 shadow line. I have nothing bad to say at all. I must say that with the aluminium the gun realy fits my hand.....
The low style safety and lock seams nice so far. I think it may be love.......

It supposedly has nickel coated internals and is factory polished etc, in addition it has a comp style hammer and ss guide rod. If you add up the extras over the older sp01 shadow it's only 50 bucks more. Pretty good value if you ask me, different story if it was like 100-200 more. I'm goin for it unless I find a cheap used one on ee.

The internals are not nickel coated. Only the trigger is and it always has been as far as I can tell. Also I don't see any mention of it being tuned at all on the CZUB or CZcustom website. Not sure where you got that from?
