CZ 75 sp-01 shadow.

excellent pistol....now...true, quite accurate, but nothing extraordinary. dpending on your unit, lock up is variable, so accuracy is variable from one to another. get couple slide release levers for it, me i've broke 1 to date. i think now CZ provides 2 or 3 slide lock levers ,that say all, they're prone to break if you release the slide sling shot alike. on mine i added a stainless rod,and lower rated recoil springs because i reload and work lower pf ammo. be aware also that this particular gun like shorter rounds, most guys who shoot that gun in production including me load at 1.100 AOL, angus hobdel from CZ custom go even lower than that at 1.090. also, the mags are on the cheapo side, kind of hybrid plastic-metal...if you don't drop them on the floor like we do in competition, fine, otherwise some tanfo or mcgar are one piece which is perfect.

+1 for buying new mags, the factory ones are real crap, they didnt even drop free.
A lot of guys run the tanfoglio mags and i did too for a while, right now im running UsA Cz 18 rounders with big base pad, pinned over there to 10 and brought them here. They look a lot like the tans to be honest, maybe a bit more robust.

Shadowmate does not come with an 11lb mainspring. It comes with a 13 and a 15.it does come with an 11lb recoil spring.
If you want a really light trigger get an 8.5lb main spring, it's just sick but not PD legal if you care.

i'm thinking of selling mine bought in 2008 to replace it with the accu shadow coming with the bushing thing ; reviews are great, much more accurate as distance increase.

not that the regular shadow is bad in anyways, i'm always looking for more,an illness i think lol.

the added bushing has to see of course, but seems like the barrel slide frame fit is more taken care of ; naturally, it also comes with a dramatic msrp increase too, anyhow it looks like the ultimate production gun, i know it's uspsa production legal .

but ipsic rules are retarded , that will be the determining factor ,the production class is the class of all lies and trickeries lol

Handled an Accu Shadow at CZ Custom. It tights up the barrel play considerably. The barrel bushing looks a lot like what you would see on a 1911. They cut their groups in half on a Ransom rest. Unfortunately, it is not IPSC legal.

Hey, I also have a shadow on the way. I've been shooting a kadet for about 3 years and really had the urge for a little more bang. After a month being like a little kid wanting a puppy the wife finally succumbed. I'm interested in the aluminum grips and this magical 13lb spring upgrade but I haven't seen any place with them for sale on the Internet in Canada. Any direction would be much appreciated. I see that cz in Czech sells stuff, but just to ship the spring and grips was like 80 bux and I wouldn't even know if it would get through or not. Help pls.

We have the DAA thin aluminum grips in stock: http://fasttoys.net/ca/DAA-Canada-CZ-SP01-Thin-Aluminum-Grips/

The 13lb is nice, but the 11 or 11.5 rules. However you may have light strikes with it on certain primers (CCI), although I seldom do. the 8.5lb is even more amazing but Federal Primers are an absolute must with it.

Just get a shadow 2012 orange, they're allowed in ipsc

My wallet is going to take a big hit if the Accu Shadow crosses the border.

Try CRAFM, site sponsor. You should e-mail or call.
Another option may be CZ custom in US. Online shipping quote is expensive , so you can order lots of parts to offset cost, or try to call and ask to use regular envelop just for couple of springs. Somebody mentioned that sometimes that worked.
