CZ 75 SP 01 Shadow

2-tone looks better but powder burn marks on the satin-nickel finish takes time to clean. Flitz is the magical cleaner to go for satin-nickel finish. The black one (blued/polycoat) is much easier to maintain. Good shooter, no doubt.

I had the same dilemma... I ended up asking the wife for her opinion and all she said was "the black looks more bad a$$" so I said "ok" and placed my order

I would get an all black Shadow myself. The Shadow is far superior to a Tactical if you plan to use it for competition. Much nicer trigger imho.

Looks like Wolverine doesn't have any at the moment though.

I personally dislike 2-tones; I prefer all stainless or all black.

I agree but I was considering it due to it being different than all the other ones I've seen. Then when I saw that it was Silver Paint and not polished metal plus my wifes comment I went New Zealand on it and went All Blacks

Hi
Thanks for your help and heads up on CRAFM and Dante's...good pricing ..at least $100 less than my local guys
Are you guys happy with your CZs ? Any issues ? Seen some good reviews on the net but haven't got a chance to shoot it myself...no one at my local range has one. I was sitting on the fence trying to decide between MP 22 or Sig 1911-22 ,but right now I'm waiting for HK 416 pistol version , so that should take care of my 22LR pistol fun and for couple hundred more get a 9mm which is not that bad for amo cost and might be more fun to shoot .

Thanks again

Cheers

this is not about our personal opinions of the trigger, I personally do not like the trigger because I suck at using dual stage triggers, all dual stage triggers, i realized I can not figure out, I tried 1500 rounds, i am better at DAO like glock, but others hate glock triggers, but i used to have had a shadow and it is as combat effective as tactical model. I hope you enjoy it!

your local guys already incurred shipping cost, and $50 on top for letting you hold it, and the fact they store is worth it. Your not really saving much by buying online in many cases. Its a illusion.

So did the brick and mortar stores that also sell on-line..most of the local stores have "one of demos" from display cases with some evident handling marks...

I love the two tones.

With that said, the exception is on the Shadow series. I found it wasn't a very true blend of the two colours, just a silver frame with black levers added. A little "cookie cutter" like.

That's why I chose a black Shadow for myself (see avatar)
