Have been looking online at various dealers and most seem out of stock. I see a store in Windsor that lists them in stock and another potential store in Kitchener ( going to call them Friday ). Does anyone know of a shop within a 2 to 2.5 hour drive from Toronto that has this model in stock? I see Epps has the SP-01, but it's not the Shadow with all the work done and FO sight. I see dealers out of province have them, but I'd like to handle one 1st.

Thanks

I think all dealers (including ones in the States) are waiting for CZ shipments, because it seems like everyone is out of everything.

Which one is it? Low medium or high? There were 3 levels of Canadian editions, not including the Silver ones.

I just purchased from Brant Shooting Sports

You can tell by the options. The highest grade one comes with the dumb fiber optic rear sights, and flush Safeties. And a narrower front sight witha 1mm rod.

Dumb fiber optic rear sights? Flush safeties? Please provide pics. The only difference in sights between a standard shadow and the Canadian edition is the narrower front fiber optic sight.

Funny because I have two Canadian Edition Shadows, and both have fiber optic rear sights, from the factory. Also came with flush safeties, as per the Shadowmate designation they now carry. There is a thread on here somewhere showing all that. So, no, the only difference isn't the narrower front sight, it's also the hand picked frames, the different finish, the more precisely hand fitted barrels, slides and frames, the competition hammer and sear being better fitted, the aluminum grips (that are neither thick nor thin, but in between, so a medium). On the newer guns it's also a chromed barrel. Cost of the original ones were $1500 for the high grade, now it's $1800.
Did I mention I have two of them? And that I sat in on a design meeting in Czech with Boris and Petr and the head of pistol production at the factory in 2011 and 2012, talking about things we IPSC shooters wanted out of the pistols. They haven't done the checkering a bunch of us have asked for though.

Would you happen to have pics of the rear sights and flush Safeties? CRAFM were only selling one type of Canadian edition that I was aware of one of which I bought. When I spoke to JP there he had told me that the Silver one I bought was hand fitted but that at that time the black ones they had were not.

There were 3 different levels of them. the most expensive having the most options and work done to them. If you don't have the FO rear and flush safeties you don't have the top grade one.
