Being a bit of a CZ rimfire fanatic, I've always been interested in the CZ 75 line of 9mm pistols. I'm probably too late, but am toying with the idea of getting one as my last centrefire handgun purchase if I can find one for a reasonable price (current situation considered of course). I've never fired one, and have only handled one once in a gun store, but man did it fit nice.
I haven't been able to find any plain CZ 75Bs, but have found a few places selling the CZ 75B Omega for between $1000 and $1100. It sounds like a CZ 75B with an upgraded trigger and seems to get good reviews. Is this an outrageous price for this pistol? Is this model worth the price? I'd have loved an SP01 Shadow but they're all either sold out, or too expensive.
Can you CZ handgun fans fill me in on a few of the best models, and which one I should get for best value around $1000ish (no surplus please)? I don't compete or anything, just a recreational shooter. I'm trying to familiarize myself with the specs on these guns right now.
