I've been toying with the idea of buying a CZ 75B in stainless.
I tried a CZ 85 Combat and was very surprised. It was a fantastic little gun to shoot, and very accurate.
So, I'm wondering what people's experiences are with the CZ 75B especially the stainless steel model are?

Eventually I'll probably get a Sig or something as well, but right now I want a nice not too expensive 9mm. Again the one I tried really impressed me.

I have a CZ 75 B with the black poly coat finish... my first and only handgun so far. I really like this gun, it's accurate and reliable... goes bang every time.

After breaking my 85 Cbt in (2000 rds), I fired 1500 rds without cleaning it, 1 stoppage, primer struck, ammo problem. The only thing I did was a couple of drop of CLP every 300 rds

I missed it...
Don't worry my guns, I'll be home in 20 days

Funny quote! Now I know i'm not the only one. :D

As far a stainless goes, I couldn't tell you, however I love my 75b and will never sell it.
I believe your very hard pressed to get as much bang for your buck. Buy the cz75b you will love it.

Unless you want a lighter poly gun, the CZ-75B is an awesome pistol. Super reliable, very accurate, great bang for the buck value.

I cannot wait until SP-01 comes out in .40S&W.....

I have a nickel finished CZ 75B. I have put about 6,000 rounds through it without a single misfire, jam, problem. I find it incredably accurate. I have shot many bullet weights and find it prefers the 147 grain and then the 125 grain bullets. I love it so much I bought another CZ the 97B.

Here is a picture of my last 10 round group at 20 yards using 147 grain Winchester Personnal Protection rounds. I flinced on the bottom round.

go for the 75, i own an 85 combat and its fantastic (the only differences between the 85C and 75B are: 75 = no ambi controls, fixed sights, firing pin block. 85 combat = ambi controls, adjustable night sights, no firing pin block). i have fired a few handguns froms sig to glock and berretta and the CZ is by far my fave, you cant go wrong.

I have 2 75B's.
One is my running "experiment". Currently 27000 rounds. All I've done is cleaned the barrel every 5000 rounds or so, and lightly oil the rails. Not a single jam, ftf, fte, or any other problems to speak of. It functions and looks like new.
Solid, reliable, accurate, best value for the money IMHO.

I owned a 2-Tone. Can't complain at all... was a great pistol. My only beef was the trigger pin needs to be replaced each time with a new one if you strip it down all the way (which you never need to do, it's just my thing).

A stainless model would be awesome! Where are you seeing this SS model (who in Canada is selling them?)

Well. That pretty much settles it then.
I've shot a fair number of different pistols. I've never really been a big CZ fan, but I was offered the oportunity to shoot a CZ85 combat and what a surprise. I also liked it better than the Glocks, MPs, beretta and my 5946. I was very impressed by the accuracy, and the trigger. It looks like that wasn't an isolated example.
I'm just pricing them out now. I'm looking towards the stainless model. It would be an easier decision between the stainless 75b and the non stainless 85 combat if the 75b had adjustable sights. The stainless model has the safety on both sides like the combat, but the sights aren't adjustable.

Let you know in a couple weeks.
Waiting on the transfer of this:

From Guns n things.
Best price I could find. $669 taxes in + $24 shipping.

Edit: Sights on the 75b are supposedly zeroed at 25 yards.
Again, will know more when it gets in.

+1 on guns n things, mine came from there as well.
BTW I find my sights zeroed at about 20 yrd for some reason, however once you shoot it enough, it's easy to drift your sights for 25 yrds.
Oh, forgot to mention: the trigger gets better and better the more you shoot.
The one I have 27K rounds on, the trigger is so good, people think I had a trigger job done. It's fantastic.

The upper pistol is a CZ75B 9mm that I put a Kadet 22 Conversion unit on. It is among my favorite pistols. Now to the sad part, I paid $259 (US) for the CZ75B and $210 (US) for the Kadet 22 Conversion unit and a spare 22 magazine. You can no longer buy CZs for those prices in the USA. Like you always said: "Even a blind squirrel occasionally..." Regards, Richard:D

That's a pretty good price since it includes taxes.

I think I'm still set on the all stainless one.
