I guess the testing and use needed to be documented in case someone asked on the Internet. It is reasonable to suggest that no modern pistol with modern and good steel and good machining should crack or blow. And this criticism extends to SIG Sauers too.
 
Ive had 3 Berettas and never had a problom, my last one was my IPSC gun and I put several thousand rnds through it.
 
I think CZ is ahead because it can go #### and lock, thus making the trigger travel much, much shorter than a Beretta. The design seems capable of taking the .40 S&W and by some reports, .40 cal Berettas take a beating.
 
If Czech Rep weren't a part of Warsaw Treaty and a 'commy' back in mid '80s, the chances were CZ handguns would be issued sidearms in UK, USA and many more NATO countries.
 
It is reasonable to suggest that no modern pistol with modern and good steel and good machining should crack or blow.
Any gun no metter how well it's made will brake at some point with heavy use and poor maintnance...
