CZ 75b vs Baby Eagle, 9mm

hmm... unless you're getting a stainless 75B I'd get a baby eagle. but I think I find CZ to be more ergonomic... it's the same design really so get which one looks and or feels better to you.

Stainless one I have is even more $ actually...;)

SP-01 is a better choice if you want to shoot IPSC. If not you don't need to spend the extra money. There was a guy with a shadow at a BB course I took, he had some problems with it (it jammed). I haven't really had a chance to shoot mine that much tho...

Hello, I recommend the CZ.
I own a 75B....and a friend (had) the Baby Eagle.
I wouldn't say one is better than the other....both very accurate....for me, it came down to feel of the grip and muzzle weight.

cheers.

The extra weight and how the weight is located with the Baby Eagle would come in handy if you want to shoot in various matches where rapid firing is needed. Mind you if you want to shoot in these types of events in time then the cost of the Shadow isn't all that bad for the advantages it provides. And you SHOULD try the shooting events. It is way more fun than just shredding paper.

Sweet thanks for the responses, still a hard choice though, both seem to be great guns IPSC might be something I will get into in the near future.

Hi I was in the same position as you, stuck between the exact same guns as it turns out, so I went to my local gun store to hold them and preferred the baby eagle personally, so I'd say hold them both before you buy. Hope this helps.

valin - I notice you're in Vancouver. If you haven't been there already, pay a visit to DVC Ventures in PoCo. They have both the CZ and the Baby Eagle for rent there.

I found myself torn between the SP01 Shadow and the BE. They both feel great in the hand and shoot really well. From my previous research, I believe (but am not sure) that it's easier to get parts for the CZ than the BE.
