CZ 85 Combat

You can expect an accurate, well built handgun. Trigger is not very good out of the box but will get better the more you shoot it.
I love CZ's - IMHO best value for $$
 
Great pistol, my son and I shoot the CZ85 combat, never a problem, feeds all 9mm ammo, accurate and reliable. An excellent pistol all around. ENJOY !!!
 
I use a 13# mainspring in mine and the DA pull is around 5#'s. Ignites all the primers I use including, CCI, Federal, & Win. I don't use Remington. Just a well built accurate, reliable pistol. One of the best of the 9MM guns.

When you buy mags go for the full metal body ones rather than the ones with the lower plastic portion. High capacity mags that are modified to 10 rounds (by the factory or otherwise) doesn't compress the spring as much as the plastic lower mags. It makes loading the mags much easier.

You can expect a lot of smiles and a warm feeling about owning a superb firearm.

I'm not sure why bjhill suggests converting it to single action only since it's easy to just ignore the double action and shoot with single action from the first shot on by just lot lowering the hammer to invoke the double action.

Also you'll need double action for the first shot if you ever want to try your hand at IPSC or IDPA.
 
I have 2 cz 85's; one a pre B and a combat less than a year old. the right side slide stop has broken on the new combat and I am having a b_tch of a time getting a new one. the place I bought it in Edmonchuck says they are having a problem getting a part. I called CZ in europe and they said to go to where I bought it. Sounds like a run around to me.

I love the gun but the service is not what I have heard from others. Been broken for about 6 weeks, missed an IPSC event and still no parts.

Keep hoping anyway, and also called Dark in Ontario for a part and said I will pay, just want it running again. The place I bought it from is a supporter here and I expected better.
