CZ-85 question

Thinking about maybe selling my CZ-85 to fund another gun purchase. It's excellent to mint, perfect finish on it (never seen a holster), 2 mags, maybe 200 rounds through it.

How much would you guys figure I could ask for it. Got a few locals here with new restricted PALs who would probably buy it. Don't want to scam them on the price, but I want to get what it's worth as much as possible. Figure I'd get some help from the online gun experts.

I am mistaken...the regular 75 is about $650. The 85B is about $750-$800. I'd say a used pistol should fetch about $600 +/- $50.

The asking price of near new stuff in the EE area is typically around $50 off list from what I've seen. That leaves the original buyer in the toilet for that $50 plus the taxes.

Now that's the ASKING prices of course. And most of those seem to make it through two or three bumps before selling so figure that into the price you ask them. From all that I'd say that $100 off the retail price you paid for a 200 round gun is going to be pretty good for both of you.

Don't sell it. You'll probably live to regret it. I think back on all the guns I sold off just because I didn't think I really needed it anymore. That $700 I paid for a NIB Colt AR-15 Match H-Bar and then sold off because I was ticked off when it was re-listed as Restricted comes to mind. Ranks right up there with the $500 new Colt Gold Cup I no longer have.
Keep the CZ-85, 10 years from now it will probably be worth $1000, unlike the plastic crap we buy nowadays.

I dunno.... in my experiance if you buy a gun new.... u usually loose a bit selling it. For instance a new M&P is $650-$750 (depending on where u shop) a good low round count used one is $500-$550....

Of course it all depends on what the other guy is willing to spend........
