take the back cover off after you have discharge the rifle the slide the bolt back all the way and it will pop up.

I used a long handled flattip, then I put pliers on that. It is tough.

I eneded up useing a pry bar from my ctc prybar set I ued the big one as it fit the stock screw perfectyl I then had a buddu hold the rifle down and had to use vice griped on the prybay it would NOT move by hand

Yep tried that. It works.

i bought an easy-out set. that worked like a charm. i broke two screw drivers trying the other way.

you know what works best? sit on a chair, clamp the carbine between your knees (or have someone help you..hold it for you) and then use a TIRE IRON!! You know, one of those ones with the 4 bars (crossed). One of them, used for prying hub caps off, is flat, and fits perfectly. with the the cross bars you now have the leverage to break the bolt loose. Worked perfectly!
