Cz 858-2

Just read 3 threads and my head hurts . Haven't been on gunnutz for awhile so this is all new to me . I have the CZ 858 Tactical 2 with folding stock . Is this one non-restricted or has this one gone prohibited ? Thanks , anyone .

PS , i'm an old guy and in the first round of confiscations they got my legally acquired , legally registered Feather AT-22 , my SPAS-12 and my Stryker and here I go again with my Tactical 2 folder ? Fack me .
 
Added info , mine says CZ 858 Tactical 2 "V" , with a folding stock .
 
Just out of curiosity (if someone here has gone through this).. let's say you're a gun owner that doesn't frequent the internet. How do you become aware of a reclassification? Does the RCMP send a letter to all valid PAL/RPAL holders?

Then you make the front page of the local newspaper... as someone who had a prohibited firearm...

That would be interesting if it happened as this would be proof positive that the registry data has been retained in which case some senior RCMP would have violated an act of parliament and should be summarily dismissed for doing so.
 
The list of prohib and restricted firearms is currently being updated.... Says the RCMP website. Has been like that for a while, can continue to be like that forever as far as I'm concerned since they never know what the hell they're doing anyways and probably never will. As long as it says that, we're good, as there is no official word yet, all speculation... Still
 
Where do we find these FRT #'s? I have an FSN-01 15.5" restricted, haven't read anything mentioned about these in the 16 pages...

Only a dealer or someone in the BIZ can see/look them up. Mentioned in post #18 of this thread.
