Cz 858-2

Yeah, my big worry with anything used that shoots 7.62x39 is it was fed corrosive ammo.

Bring a mini flashlight and look down the barrel. This will tell you if there is corrosive damage. Most do clean their rifles after use. I've heard there are problems with the new CSA's, so I'm not sold on them yet.

Hi all, I'm curious about some of you mentioning issues with the CSA VZ 58. I have heard of issues with the 5.56 version but was unaware of any with the 7.62 version. Could anyone please enlighten me on issues with the 7.62 version? Thanks!

This thread was never on track cuz its nothing but B to the S...

Could you refresh my memory on what the B and the S was again? We have a sponsoring dealer who has said that his CZ858 NR was taken by the RCMP as a Prohib., and we have a Lawyer actively looking into this. CanAm lying? Perhaps the B and S you are referring to is 'Blind Sided.' We need to know what they find out, as things like this could be the RCMP's new modus operandi. "We cannot get them with legislation, so let's prohib a few guns."

Dealers & importers are sour at the news that the RCMP is not allowing any more shipments of these firearms in with receivers made across the pond. Same thing is happening with the Swiss Arms. The Government is not going to spend the $ or resources on implementing any sort of confiscation or buy-back program.
Remember what happened to the Americans in the '90's? The guys lucky enough to have bought a (SIG-550 for instance) just saw their firearm go nothing but up in value because no more were allowed into the country anymore.
Same thing is happening here. The Importers aren't going to say this because they are still battling the decision that has cost them lots of lost future imports.
Nothing is going to happen as I have said before. Buy as many as you can now & make some $ in the future.

Stay away from the U.S. made garbage. This is one major reason no more shipments are coming in from across the pond. So that the U.S. can supply us with their "Made in the U.S.A. products.
****You have to look at the bigger picture here people, this was just a business deal between countries!

(started a thread using this post to get some different ideas out there instead of the usual "BS")

Why are the USA made receivers garbage?

He tried to explain that and his other ramblings in the thread he created which was subsequently LOCKED, when everyone called him on his H:S:

Using conspiracy theories to explain the 858 issue is laughable. It is CGN after all and we must expect it :nest:

Idk I heard Jesse Ventura on bill o'reilly talking about how the CZ 858-2 was the rifle the boys on the grassy knoll most likely used. It only makes sense.
