CZ 858-4 finally on the way

My CZ 858-4 is finally on the way to its new home; no thanks to the Quebec CFO, they took almost 2 months to "approve" it.

It should hopefully be here either Monday or Tuesday.

I think thats the restricted one.

Yes it is the restricted one with the chromed original length barrel.

I just bought one out of the EE, unfired (the guy got laid off, started liquidating his guns) for $600 with 4 mags and all the other stuff they come with new. I just took it out for the first time over the weekend. I really like mine. Very fun to shoot. Pretty accurate. Can't beat the price on the ammo (or the gun for that matter). The only "problem" was, given the cost of ammo and the amount of fun I was having - the thing was heating up like crazy. The front part of the reciever and around the piston was sort of steaming for awhile! Wow! I fired about 200 rounds. Had a good time. My girlfriend is going to try it for the first time on Saturday.

Some pics. I think I'm going to get that AKM brake. I know it doesn't do much, but it looks cool. What is on there stock (and in these pics) is just a thread protector that can be easily taken on and off.

Can you get this model with the wood stock instaed of the folding one?

Alot of people have the glue wood stocks laying around & would defenatly trade for a folder in a heart beat.
