cz 858 disassembly fustration

I just received my cz 858 today... and cant even get passed the 1st stage of disassembly. pull the pin, slide the rear of the receiver forward and up.. and it jams.. only raises a couple of mm... and nothing there after.... Not sure if its binding on the pin(because it might be too long)... not sure if it is internal... anyone have this?

You gotta decock it.
Dry fire or pull the bolt back, hold the trigger, and ride the bolt forward.

The striker being in the cocked position holds the cover down.

Edit: Happens to damned near everyone the first time.

i never ran into this problem because proper practice is to clear you weapon befor you feild strip it. this can help to ensure you keep your face in one peice

Pulling the trigger has nothing to do with clearing your rifle safely and properly.

hahahahaha of course you have to pull the trigger. thats the funniest thing ive ever herd. obviously you would check the chamber to ensure its clear, requirering you to #### the action. once you ensured it was clear you would release the bolt and dry fire the rifle in a safe dirrection. i didnt intent to sound to preachy. i suppose you can just assume that the rifle is clear, and then start trying to feild strip it while its cocked.
