I am not sure if anyone has theirs yet, but mine has just arrived today, via Canada Post. I am happy with it, even if it seems used and I'll be even happier when I manage to install the damn thing. Also it comes with a spare screw.

I got one for my vz.58 when I ordered it from Marstar. It's okay. Not the best to shoot with and I don't like to fold the stock much because the butt plate rubs against the side of the receiver. It's cool to have, but the regular stock is better for actually shooting.

Was your from Marstar just as scratched up as mine?

Why bother?
You already spent some cash on it, leave it stock.
I plan to get some grey abs plastic, and "carve" out a cheek piece, one day...

Meuh...Ar sstocks do feal a bit too wide to me.
A funky mix of east and west....fugly, but functional.

I'm more interested in a B&T type rail setup, now we're talking.

It looked fine to me. Scratched up where? All over?
It looks as if it has been used before.

Oh well...no big deal.
As you guys might know, the folding stock was not shipped with the initial batch of 858's by Wolverine. For some reason, they were unavailable in October/November '05. Maybe they stole a few from the Czech military in the meantime.

Just a quick reminder: VZ-58 - Marstar
CZ-858 - Wolverine

Mine's a Marstar vz.58. I bought it with the max pack or tac pack or whatever the heck they called it, but it included a folding stock.

simple cheek piece

to make a simple cheek piece for your VZ folder go down to your hot water tank and remove a section of the pipe insulating foam (or buy some at the hardware store).

It slips easily over the stock, remains reasonably firm and is very comfortable!
