CZ-858 front sling mount solutions

I'm looking for ideas to mount a VCAS to the front of my CZ-858. Do mash hooks or snap hooks fit the small tab on the gasblock? Mine came with the t-shape adaptor for the 3/4" leather tab on the factory sling so its pretty much useless. I can make a 1.25" sling mount for the rear but I was hoping a mash hook will work up front. Thoughts? Experiences?

Just put a heavy-duty key ring on the front sling mount and attach anything you want to it.

My first 858 had the split ring instead of the t-shaped thing.

Both mash, HK and snaps fit it.
