cz 858 grips

Here' a couple pics of a slightly modded Ace AK/AR adapter with Troy grip. The tail at the rear was ground down so it fit in the VZ grip plate. To set it up like this required no mods to the grip, but it did take a bit of finessing to get it seated correctly. If you want to completely eliminate the gap, the front of the adapter needs to be reduced and you need to remove material from the inside of the grip and adapter to allow the bolt to sit correctly. I've got medium size hands and the slight gap is no problem at all.

The Troy grip is kinda small so I'd like to get a Magpul MOE. No big deal to cut the rear curved part off the MOE.

Its funny, I was talking to a Texan who thinks "beaver barf is the best!" They love it because its different. We hate it because we think we are forced into it. The bottom line is that its just another hard composite material that is pretty durable and cheap to make. When I get my Vz im leaving it ORIG!
 
I hate the original because it causes my hand to be too close to the trigger. Which means I am pulling the trigger almost with my middle knuckle. If it was further back I would be OK with the beaver barf.
