Im wondering if anyone can help me with this. I got some new hand guards for my CZ 858 but i have run into a problem, I cant get the top hand guard wood off! I've looked at it and there is no pins or anything holding the end part into (the part that that pins into the rear sight) the hand guard. I have tried to smack whack and bash it, but it don't move! Could it be glued?

here's the pic:

i dont quite understand your question . according to your pic , you have removed the wood off the HG.

but just in case thats what you are asking, there is no pin holding the top wood to the metal HG, just bend the wings and rotate the wood , try left and then right , repeat if neccessary . to get a better leverage while twisting the wood off , pull out the locking pin on the metal .

but just in case you are trying to remove the rear end of the metal HG , you cant cos its spot weld , they dont come off .
