CZ 858 handguards

Hello everyone just have a question regarding changing the handguards for my Cz 858. I'm looking to replace them with the polymer ones. I'm having issues taking the bottom one out. I'm wondering if I'm suppose to just force it or is there some sort of pin that needs to be taken out. I would like to keep the original handguard in decent condition. Can anybody please help out.

There is a pin keeping the bottom one in place; this pin is flared out on both sides.

I use a steel punch and carefully hammer in the edges all around the pin (pick a side... I work the left side)... then with a very fine steel pin I hammer the pin out (the right side).

The Bottom guard can then be removed (pull down).
