CZ 858 in 223

you will love it!!
the only thing you need to pay attention to is when and if you reload the rifles tend to like hotter heavier loads, i reload for my M4 and this and I have rounds that cycle beautifully through my M4 but FTE on this, i chalked it up to being nice and tight and new but i think its just in need of what i stated, hotter and heavier! not lots but if your loading light than you may have to tweek is all

I bought one about three weeks ago from Selins and really like it. Far more accurate than I would have guessed which is a real bonus. Used American Eagle .223 in it but have now switched to the Norc .223 which sure is loaded up compared to the AE. It seems to reallly like the Norc ammo and accuracy has been very good.

Have a red dot on it which I hate so ordered a scope. Strangest thing is the first scope mount I bought wouldn't fit, the base fit but the upper attachement would not fit on the base?? No idea why but Del found me a different mount and it fit perfectly.

Will have to look into the mag conversion kit, didn't know there was one so thanks for that info.
 
Just back from the range. Kinda disappointed with accuracy but will have to work on it by trying different ammo(used AE 55gn FMJBTs)and eventually my own reloads.
 
Adapter came in today and it installs super easy it's incredible. Mags should be in tomorrow so I'll really be able to test her out.

Wonder if shooting plain 223 instead of real 5.56x45 would have made a difference in my groups. Whats everyones favorite ammo for these rifles? Anyone know if you can get dies specifically for reloading the NATO round if that will improve groups?
