Well I just got delivered my CZ 858 , 11", folding stock in 5.56. It looks and feels great. I was looking for one on EE but was shocked at the used gun prices. I got this one delivered , taxes in for $760. Used ones are advertised at $600 -$700. It didnt make any sense to me to buy used for the sake of a $100 .I don't blame the sellers, their job is to get as much as possible. However do the buyers price out new ones. If so is it worth saving the taxes to buy used?. I put a lot of value on getting new with a warranty from a reputable dealer over the EE market unless there is a significant price savings. I notice this also with Tavors and scorpions as well.Prices for used are the same or more than new. I'm looking at picking up a Tavor next but I will again definetely go the new route

Says the trader rating of 1...... The EE can be an amazing place to shop, if you have money NOW, because well priced items will move instantly, unless they are oddball calibers etc. If you are broke or a window shopper, its not the place for you! unfortunately the cz/VZ stuff is popular and will still sell for close to retail with a few extra mags etc. so it's probably better to buy new! I have seen them go for $500 shipped though!

Deals can be had on the EE but from my experience, people normally want the most they can get and forget that their firearms is used and usually the warranty is non-transferable. I've seen some people selling rifles on there that were barely used and priced $50 less than new. Granted you save taxes but some people try and dump their guns that don't function properly on there. Case in point was a gentleman who bought a KSG for almost double the retail only to find out it didn't cycle ot eject worth a damn.
