Just got my CZ-858 parts kit today from Wolverine. When I opened the package, I noticed that the spare Pistol Grip and Upper & Lower Handguards were made of WOOD. REAL WOOD! Not the nasty presswood/plastic hybread the orignal ones are made of. I wasn't long switching them:D Unfortunitly the extra butt-stock was the orignal presswood, but as I use mostly the folder I have it's not too big of a problem. On a side note, if anyone has a wooden butt-stock they be willing to sell/trade, I'll gladly take it off your hands:D

On a more important note, some of you may remember that I was having trouble with my CZ, where in it would sometimes chamber a round but the sear would fail to hold the striker and thus the rifle would not be cocked. With the adishion of new internal parts from the kit I have corrected this problem. I'm still not sure what part was causing the trouble (as I replaced EVERY internal part except the orignal bolt and bolt lock but including the entire top cover/springs/bolt carrier assembly). My guess is that it was either the trigger assembly, the sear/selector spring assembly, the sear, or a combination of the three.

Some others here were having the same problem, so if you still are, I suggest you get this kit, or return your rifle. However, the way I see it, if a kit that costs less than $115 or so shipped will fix your rifle, go for it. You can get a refund/exchange, but if this works, you don't have to wait for another rifle and you'll also have a complete set of sparts if something should go wrong years from now.

Everything. All except Barrel, reciver, gas block, and (for some reason) the front site post and front site base. Yet you still get the front site, thred cap, and plunger & spring though.

Canuck: That's really funny. They have alot of them as I understand it. Next time ask for "CZ 858 Parts Kit for $95.00" or something like that. Wish I had an item # for you but there was none on my invoice. Just keep asking. They DO have them.
