I shoot at Oshawa SGC, Ont.
Well I just tried out the new railed dust cover with Vortex Sparc.
First let me say to all of you thinking this is like the cheapo NCstar SKS railed cover it is NOT. The dustcover ran fantastically, with no shift, movement of any sorts and held its zero through 200 surplus rounds of ammo. I should have brought more ammo cuz it took probably 30-40 rnds just to sight it in, this was probably caused by the fact that the Sparc is brand new and after every couple of rounds would start to wiggle alittle bit loose. After a couple times of tightening it was bang on perfect at 50 yards.
I then took the Sparc off the rail and placed it back on to see if it would F with the POI, no change at all. I just tightened the screws, put a loaded mag in and it shot where the dot was pointed at.
I then took the dustcover with mounted sparc off and put it back on again to see if the impact would change. Low and behold it fvcking didnt change a cvnt hair.
I am so impressed by this, that I think I need 3 more for my other rifles.
It didnt in anyway get touched by ejecting brass, it didnt interfere with the charging handle it just plain worked like it is suppose to.
I love this rail and am so happy I can mount an optic on it without loosing the AK look I love so much.
This completes my perfect AK clone set up.
Pics will come for sure tomorrow.
