Alright, so I got the camera up and running again and here are the pics people have been wanting to see.


Mounted with a Vortex Sparc & Magnifier

Without magnifier

I really do love this set up. Sparc is at perfect height for me and is so easy to pick up on a fast acquisition. Follow up shots are a breeze, and it really hasnt added that much more weight. No I have not weighed it but it doesnt seem that much different.

So let me get this straight...
Every time you want to remove the rear cover to clean your rifle cause you shoot the corrosive ammo you will need to break out the allen key set to remove this rail and then you have to screw the clamps back down once you put everything back. Also if there is no optic on the rail are you able to use the iron sights?

let me say yes and yes to both of those questions. 2 screws are no big deal for me .

It does, even when you take just the optic off it seems too

No but a screwdriver with matching wood would be a good idea, hint hint....

I like it best with the wood kinda that old school meets new school look.

Yes, I love the wood, that's coming too. My only difference is I have a Magpol pistol grip with a chamber inside. I will be putting the scope batteries, and obviously the alan key in there.

got it from zahals. It was quite expensive but for me to keep the wood and mount an optic this was the route I wanted to take. Works great and looks fantastic.
