CZ 858-4V CQB
Tuesday, June 10, 2008

We just recieved our shipment of the new CZ 858-4V rifles. These rifes come standard with folding stock and 15.5" Chrome lined barrels, which makes these restricted. As well as all the accessories that come standard with the 858-2 tactical.

As a bonus for a limited time we will be shipping out all CZ 858's (restricted and non-restricted versions) with an extra set of 5/30 rd magazines. a retail value of $155.00.

8 5/30 magazines and a shorter chrome lined VZ58 with a folding stock for $650.... sweet. Only thing is after taxes and shipping thats about $750 that I could spend on some ammo..... decisions decisions.

*Kicks self in ass for buying one a few months ago*

OMG... I just got one with longer barrel a week ago...well, well.....it's very hard to..must hold...myself....not to buy this ....short barreled beauty....

NORSEMAN;
We seriously underestimated the market for that rifle, we only made up a small lot of just under 300.

We are making more and will introduce four new variants this summer, all VERY nice....
John @ Marstar

Looks like a good summer or plinking, now I just need to buy some more ammo.

Marstar shows their restricted VZ58S at 390MM, which is 15.3 so I'll wager that these two guns are the same, just with Wolverines having a folding stock and 8 mags, making the better deal IMO from Wolverine.

Plus I am a cheap bastard and don't want to pay taxes in Ontario.

In the case of Ontario, it could be argued that the government doesn't really want you to own guns, therefore you aren't bound to pay taxes since the government wouldn't want to dirty it's hands with 'gun money' :D

getting to the subject ... i wouldnt be surprise that after wolverine clears out of their non-chrome long barrel , they will intro the chrome long barrel .... just in time when marstar bring theirs "L" in .

hhhhmmmmm so who should i buy mine from wolverine or marstar?

competition is a good thing.:D

The CZH 2003 is produced by Hermex, while the CZ 858 is a product of CZ .

IMHO CZ does a better job of building the "semi only" VZ58, at least where finish is concerned.

All rather moot as they are drawing on the same parts supply.

The chrome "short" barrels are standard for the original VZ58.

Ehh.... Not short enough to be worth the restricted status. If it must be restricted, I want it Krink'd to the max.

Yes but the already restricted is the only platform that you can have it cut down on. If you cut down a NR gun you'd making a prohib gun dont cha know.

Like I posted, Marstar is brining in 4 more versions this year, so maybe one will be a nice short barrel version.

The Wolverine ones are slightly shorter but certainly not Krinks. The ones Marstar is getting in are supposed to be Krink style.
