cz 858 stock options

Congratulations on your "ownage."

As an update I took the factory stock off the 858 yesterday and used the Infretek skeleton stock that also came with my rifle. The extra couple inches and re-shaped butt changed everything.

While I still think it looks funny was it ever comfortable to shoot.

I will try to finish this stock within two weeks. I am actually encorporating Tabuk features in my 'drago.' My stock is a combination of three designs...you will see.

Lectar always finds me...somehow. :D

well, all my pieces arrived and i now have a complete stock on my cz858.
thanks for all the suggestions guys:)
i kind of like the soviet ak look as some have already modified to, but still prefer the western ar appearance, so i chose accordingly.
a big thumbs up to stormwerkz for his adapters, and the simplicity of their install.
hopefully the 1337 aimpoint clone survives the recoil:yingyang:
all that's left is to paint the upper handguard, and replace the slanted brake with one of palinak's 6 port one's.

btw, the stormwerkz adapters do line up perfectly with the rear of the receiver if you want, i just mounted my ar stock plate & folder a little higher for a better sight picture.
the universal adapter plate that bolts directly to the rear of the receiver has 3 height settings if needed:)

I'm thinking it is easier for a righthanded person than left, but the advantage is a righty can use the safety. As a southpaw, I'd probably keep the stock extended and only fold.

hopefully i understood the pic requests:redface:
to grip the rifle comfortably when the stock is folded, it does need to be moved ahead a minimum of 2 clicks on my 6 position stock.
but to access the mag release, the stock needs to be fully extended when folded.
changing the mag isn't as simple as normal, but is fairly easy none the less.
i think a magpul ctr stock would be more ergonomic, as my RRA car stock is rather thick and pointy at spots.

folded, and fully extended (6 pos)
