cz-858 stock removal/folding stock

i'm trying to remove my stock and switch it to the folding just seems very tight anyone have advice?

Yes sir... Do you have a dining room table? If so, take the time to break one of the chairs attempting to make a tool to remove the bolt... it wont actually work, but at least I wont be the only SOB that tried this... Then! After your wife, or significant other chokes you out for wreaking the place, invest in a tire iron, seems to be the preferred way to remove the bolt... just give'r, as its tight as hell!

When I had a 858 I had to go to Princess Auto to find a big assed screwdriver with a long enough shank and large enough head to securely remove the screw inside the wood stock.


It was still a real bear to remove if I recall.

and it will work for a lee enfield too

unless your planning to put the origional beaver puke back on, go find your saw. works like a charm

I used a 1/2 inch wood spade drill and ratchet, broke a few screwdrivers before that though.

i had a larger screwdriver with a square shaft and used it in conjunction with a wrench 3/8 i think? work awsome didnt even damage the screw or bolt. the screwdriver i had was about 13 inches long i think
