Well i've reached the point of no return with factory used sling that came with my 858. Can anyone reccomend a tac sling, black in colour ? Would like to buy it in Canada if possible.

Thanks for the help.

I like the standard sling. I have an Uncle Mikes 3 point tactical sling. It is ok, but the regular sling is nice and light, tuff and the perfect length. I don't use the uncle Mikes much anymore. You can call up Wolverine as they have a lot of tactical slings and regular ones too.

I picked up a Vickers Combat Application Sling from One Shot. Haven't had much time to play with it but it seems sturdy and I do like the quick adjust.

I have a Vickers medic sling on mine...I like it. It has an extra adjuster buckle so that when slung, you can really tighten it in to do other work.

From my perspective it's not the ultimate combat sling as much as a great "I have to live with a rifle" sling.

Not that I have to, of course. But if I had to spend a month straight with a rifle and still go about lots of other tasks it's ideal.

Apex tactical has a cool one.. It's one point and even though it's Hong Kong stuff, I like it better than my brandname Blackhawk one which is similar @ $40. h ttp://www.apextac.com/catalog/item/6540841/6817328.htm

Your "Brandname " Blackhawk sling is made in china

You can buy seatbelt webbing sewn together with a hook on it or................

you can buy Blue Force Gear Slings which are made in Georgia and backed by both One Shot Tactical and Blue Force Gear, and used by elite forces in the US, Canada and Europe ;)
