CZ 858 Trigger Guard massage?

Howdy all.Any one try and grind/remove the portion of the trigger guard that blocks the mag release lever? Wondering if its worth it instead of going for the larger paddle.

I have a buddy that took it off with a zip cut. Worth it in my mind.

Oh yeah it works great. Take a small grinder or a dremel to it, and file it after to smooth it up. Makes changing mags way easier.

Hate to be the barer off not so great new's but I did that once. Then I tried the Dlask extended mag release. Let's just say that the $40 on the mag release was way more functional than the 2 second dremel job. Unless your left handed like my friend and he really likes that little cut out. As a matter of fact he realy like's everything to do with this rifle. He even went so far as to say "Wow, it seems like this rifle was made for lefties." while having a smile on his face.

Yeah it would be even better with the mag release. I would still cut out that indentation on the trigger guard because it got in the way when i wore gloves. But i have huge hands so maybe it was just me.

Cut the indented part of the trigger guard off.

cut the guard, then get he mag release.
