So because CZ put some Spartan symbols and a Latin saying on the wooden parts it's a "new" variant and requires a "new" FRT, because if they used the previous FRt numbers the rifle would be non restricted. Even thought that actual rifles do not differ from the previously imported rifles. Basically they are calling them converted automatics like they did several years ago with the other imports. It's pretty apparent the RCMP have a hard on to prohibit the CZ/VZ 58 family of rifles.
So the next question is I guess is the stock is prohibited too? Because if I put that stock on my rifle it would be no different then the ones currently for sale.
