I was told they will not hold your position nor will they notify you when the guns come in.
So essentially, if you cancel your order, "you're dead to them". ;)

Terrible... So you've paid for the rifles in full and are being forced to hold them in stock? Ask the RCMP to pay you interest.

Guys do not cancel. As we read here the RCMP is acting weird but they might only prohib the original CZ with the welds. Do NOT cancel anything based on my info from the Libs. We don't have all the details yet. I want a 858 and if I had the cash I would buy one asap.

Bill C42 protects the CZ858 as it stands. The RCMP CANNOT override it. To reverse that they would have to go to parliament and have an OIC or new legislation put into place.

They have probably already received your 2 rifle, so do you know the estimated completion date ?

Hopefully we will have a decision from the RCMP SFSS by mid Dec.

Could you please point the exact section in bill C42 protecting CZ858. I browsed quickly through the bill and couldn't find it.

if you search the dozens of threads that are on here from when C42 happened you will find the references etc to the change that C42 allowed the government to make to the classifications.
