It is a big thread, but the info is so hard to find. The SKS has its own forum, and the CZ/VZ is a vastly superior firearm IMO. I think enough people here own one, or want to own one to open a specific forum.

Agreed but..... then the AR15 should have it's own forum ... then there's the Norc M14 and Rem 870's , don't forget the Prohibs & CA's too.... it starts to set a bit of an annoying precedent.
We are a GENERAL firearms forum. Perhaps finding an improvement to the search feature would be time better spent?

Ya, the SKS has it's own forum and yet people still post SKS questions in black rifles. Why do they do that? Simple, cause waaaaaay more people read this forum than the SKS forum. Making separate forums for every popular firearm out there only dilutes the board and makes it harder to communicate.

I own an 858, and I love it, and the VZ58/CZ858 thread has a lot of info; but you have to admit, the majority of the thread is just VZ cheerleading. There have been countless times when I have checked the latest posts in the thread and found only a BTT... what's the point of that?

If someone has a VZ question, they post a new topic in the Black Rifle forum, and its gets answered. A new forum is not needed.

Yes, it's a cool rifle, but is there REALLY enough info or people that own them to justify a new forum? NO. There is not.

Oh, by the way, I want a USP forum, a S&W Stainless Revolver forum, and a Browning A-bolt forum. More people own those than the VZ/CZ... guaranteed!

LOL! Didn't mean to upset you :evil: ! Don't get me wrong... I have an 858 and really do enjoy it. BUT... you do get my point. An FAQ would be fine. Separate forum.... no thanks.

The SKS ended up with it own sub-forum because no other forum wanted it. It didn't really fit in anywhere. Kinda like a Liberal voter on CGN.;)
