CZ 858 Wood Furniture

Just so folks are aware, there will be NO METAL FITTINGS ETC with these sets.

These will be the straight stripped down stock, fore end and grip sets.

For those of you looking for wood handles or complete wooden handled bayonets, there is no availability on those at all.

Ah I see..so taking that set off the EE is a good move I'd say.

Hey Grumpy, have you find the folding stock somewhere ?! It was suppose to come with 100 cz858, di you know where there are finally ?!

Thanks again for the great deal on the 858, I'm seated in front of me house waiting the postman !!! :D

wolverine maintains a strong ethical business I have no doubt in my mind that they could have sold all the 858s in the same time frame for a + $275 more than they did. If you need the wood NOW than yea it might be "worth it" but I'll willing to bet you a set of wood that wolverines price is far better.

nope apparantly it was a book keeping mistake on CZ's part. They have no more rifles...those folders aren't hiding anywhere in the back rooms.. They are seeing if they have any folding stocks kicking around for us, but not holding my breath.

Grumpy, pardon my ignorance but does your statement around no availability for wooden handles include the Canadian edition IF/WHEN they become available. I would think the Canadian would have to be the full set, possibly without hardware, but just checking..

Also can the hardware that comes factory with beaver barf be removed and fitted to other wooden stocks? Is it a direct fit for factory wood?

If you have a 858 you allready have the required hardware

That's a very good point. But if I'm taking off the barf and putting on wood I may wanna sell the barf someday and it be better sold with hardware.. But I got nothing but good to say about wolverine.... I love my uts15. It's all good

There never was a "canadian wood" bayonet. A full wood set does not cover the bayonet, as the bayonet is technically not part of the firearm or the stock set. None of the wood sets will have metal with them, the surplus or the Canadian if the Canadian becomes available. The metal from the beaver barf most certainly can be used directly onto the wood, it fits perfectly, or at least any of the ones I've seen has.
