805 bren? With the 806 out now, no thanks.

Also chrome lined barrels? Put my name down for full chrome barrels? Why? I have no idea, so why not?
 
Ah gahdammit Kyle!!!.... this might actually force me to purchase a new caliber... really I'm not all that ticked off, guy's I know love 762x39 ... but does anyone know if the aftermarket stuff for the 858 will be compatible with the 958? I really don't want to have to wait to swap out fore-end and pistol grip.. I'm presuming mag's are compatible. I've never considered stocking or shooting 762x39... please go gentle guys...I'm a red gun virgin.

a short 11" barrel with an integrated front sight/gas block would be the cat's meow. No need for the standard barrel. Think about it.
 
I have no demands. Doesn't have to be chrome lined. As long as it is non-restricted for now, is reliable and not outrageously expensive. And that the market gets flooded with them. More so than the CZ858 and variants. Hopefully it will be as ubiquitous as the SKS is in Canada.

I'm usually a very patient man, but I'm starting to get antsy...I want a 958 Tactical darnit! I've already bugged Tyson enough this week with emails, phone calls, and purchases...should I bug him some more???

I've started accumulating all the accessories... scope, mount, the Israeli stock/grip kit and some other miscellaneous goodies. I really think the 958 will be a huge success!

Yeah, I already have a red dot for it, gotta get the stock/grip/forend kit for it. I'm so excited, I'm like a kid waiting for Santa!
 
RE: Comment on UN serial number marking program: Ya, they always made a lot of sense to me. Give a rife with a serial number, another serial number in case we were all to stupid or blind to read the first one. We should advocate taking the money from that Useless UN program (less then useless) and spending the money on aid for the Syrian refugees in the camps who are actually facing budget food shortages in their funding. A much better use of UN funding
